Just when i needed you most, you are Hard Up?!
1. Taxis are always not available when you need them.Taxi drivers always complain they have no business.
I wonder who are the lucky ones.
I am lucky but for those who takes the taxi in the morning, you have to pay -
On call charge $4
Metre starts $2.40
Peak Hour $2
ERP $2(minimum)
Before your metre starts kicking in, you already have to pay $10.40!
Well, some Taxis appear from an ambiguous corner when you do a ON CALL.Especially competitive when it comes to morning and evening time. NO cabs!
Guess Taxi drivers are not so hard up after all.
2. I was trying to look for a doctor.
There are 5 clinics in the market which i can go to.
On this saturday night, they were all hanging CLOSED signs.
The only one opened had like 20 patients inside. It was already 8.30pm.
I gather it will be like 11pm before the doctor can see me and they close at 9.30pm.
If im a doctor, i will open my clinic on a Sat night. At least 2 saturdays in a month. And who says, its competitive being a doctor? Its a matter of choice.
Guess Doctors are not so hard-up after all.

It was raining so heavily, my car send to workshop. Bo pian gonna get a cab...taxi comes, driver asked me "go where??" I told him my destination : from Tampines to Bedok, he replied: "Not going!! Go Woodland I can consider!!!"...yet so many taxi drivers complaining no passengers....I respect those taxi drivers who never select passengers and they really make us desperate passengers not so hard up waiting like a fool on the roadside for hours..just sharing...

Chin Chai lah!! Complain complain wait people blacklisted and rice bowl break!! Some tax drivers also very cham one, one person earn money feed so many mouths...Dejiang so bad one teach people complain..don't like this leh!! hahhaa...
It all depends on the individual. Some taxi drivers just pick up anyone which I think it is very good but then their taxi kaki will mock at them saying they are very desperate.
Then we know a family doctor who's very good, last time his clinic even opened on sunday. But he told us many of his doctors friends laughed at him saying he's very hard up for money!!! But he told us he really cares for his patients as sunday, there'll be people who fall sick and most clinics are closed...Well, what to do, this world is make up of all sorts of people.
