Onsen Village

I went to this place, its called Nikko 日光。
I couldn't stop singing 許茹雲's 日光機場whenever i see the word 日光。
This place is famous for 溫泉 Onsen.
Different hotels even have their own piped in Onsen Water from the main onsen congregation, as seen in this picture. Heat, courtesy of the core of the earth.

But what you didnt smell is the sulphur!
My god. It was darn smelly. Imagine you have to dip in sulphur water but hey, you will have good smooth skin after that. So i tried and it was my first time taking this kinda Onsen thingee with nude japanese uncles around me, looking out to mountains and stuffs. Its wierd but "when in Japan"... haha...

Gyoza Land

I have never heard of this place called 宇都宮 in Japan.
Basically its kinda like the Northern side and its famous for Gyozas.
Many shops here sells Gyozas. Of course i ate the really crispy ones. There is this shop that we went to, that has different types of gyozas from different gyoza shops in 宇都宮。

If you really like Gyozas, you must really come to this place.
They even have a statue of a gyoza(with a man engraved inside).. Duh !!

廣島之戀 Love of Hiroshima

This is the site where the first atomic bomb hit Hiroshima in the second world war in 1945. Its now a delapidated site to remind Japanese and others about Peace & Harmony.

In Hiroshima, the most famous and must-try food is this!
Yes, you can get it in the basement of Singapore's Takashimaya...
This food is called Okonomiyaki.
It is 600 yen(ard SG $9) with lots of noodles, eggs, sauces, vege and Mayonaise!! Yummy!!

And this is how they cook it in Japan!
Right in front of you, Tepanyaki style. Was indeed a treat !!
O-I-Shi Desu !!

Japanese Loves Cream Puff and so do i!!!
Of my 11 days in Tokyo, i had around 8 of them. Yummy!
This is the last one i had, while Christian is watching & Su, taking the picture. We shared this puff after taking this picture.

If you are in japan, don't forget to eat some....
I think its called Shu-Creamu Pa-Fu ...

Dear Deer...Born Free...

This is taken in Miyajima 宮島 in Hiroshima 廣島。
Other than being famous for BBQ oysters, this island has many deers running around everywhere, more than the stray cats and dogs in Singapore!!
Have to touch one!!

Some tourists will buy deer biscuits and feed them. Little did they know, a photo opportunity becomes an attack of the hungry deers.
